I can&#8217;t see a single mark on this baby but the metal Conrad Johnson remote shows a little sign of use (no missing letters or anything ugly).<\/p>\n<p>This is a beautiful sounding unit, it has that inner-glow that CJ are famous for. Call it inner-glow or fleshed out images or meat on bones or whatever you want, but you&#8217;ll know what I mean the moment you hear it.<\/p>\n<p>I would have no hesitation pairing the Conrad Johnson CT-5 with another tube amp or a good solid state amp but I wouldn&#8217;t use it with something that&#8217;s already on the warm side.<\/p>\n<p>I love the way this thing throws a big wide-open soundstage and the palpability it brings to vocalists.
